These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Obey The Light ("OTL," the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Adults only. OTL is an adult-oriented service. You must be at least 18 years old, at least the age of majority where you live, and legally permitted to access adult material in your location.
1. Adult eligibility and lawful use
You may use OTL only if you are legally eligible to do so. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you, including laws concerning adult content, sexual material, privacy, consent, intellectual property, and computer misuse.
You may not use OTL in connection with minors, non-consenting persons, sexual exploitation, unlawful recordings, coercion, trafficking, abuse, illegal sexual material, or other unlawful or non-consensual conduct.
2. Consent and personal responsibility
OTL is a configurable software tool. You choose the media, settings, Tasks, effects, connected-device output, and activities used in a session. A generated prompt is not a command, medical recommendation, or representation that an activity is safe for you.
You are responsible for deciding what is appropriate, lawful, consensual, and safe for your circumstances. Do not configure or follow a prompt that exceeds your limits or another person's freely given consent.
3. Safety
Some optional OTL features refer to activities that can cause injury, and visual or audio effects may be unsuitable for some users. Review the Safety & 18+ information before using the Service. OTL does not provide medical, psychological, legal, sexual-health, or professional safety advice.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and sign-in methods and for activity performed through your account. Provide accurate account information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts or particular features when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or legal compliance, including for abuse, fraud, attempts to bypass Premium or progression controls, or violations of these Terms.
5. Your content and Community
You retain ownership of content you provide to OTL. You are responsible for usernames, profile pictures, Training names and notes, custom text, and other content you upload, enter, or publish, and you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content through the Service.
If you upload or publish content through OTL, you grant OTL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, and provide the Service. This does not transfer ownership of your content to OTL.
Community content may not harass or threaten others, promote hate or unlawful conduct, impersonate another person, spam or mislead users, infringe another person's rights, or contain illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, or otherwise prohibited material. OTL may review reports and restrict, unpublish, remove, or limit Community profiles or Trainings, or take account action where reasonably appropriate. A report does not guarantee a particular moderation outcome.
6. Saved and public Trainings
If you save a Training to your account, OTL may store the configuration needed to restore it. Saved configurations can include adult or intimate preferences. Local media contents are not uploaded merely because they are selected for playback, although limited file references or metadata may be stored to reconnect Saved Trainings to local files. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Sharing a Training creates a public-by-link snapshot, and publishing it to Community discovery makes that eligible snapshot discoverable through Community. Public Training information may include your public username when your Community profile permits attribution, along with Training configuration and Community ratings. Do not share or publish information you do not want others to see.
Editing a Saved Training does not automatically update its shared snapshot; use the share action to update it. Unpublishing removes Community discovery but leaves the share link usable. Making your Community profile Private does not revoke existing links. Revoking a link stops future access through it, but OTL cannot guarantee deletion of copies that other people saved, imported, screenshotted, or otherwise obtained while the content was public.
7. Premium and Patreon
Premium may be provided through an eligible Patreon membership, an authorized access code, or another method OTL makes available. Premium availability and features may change over time.
When you link Patreon, OTL may verify your Patreon membership status to determine Premium eligibility. Patreon is a separate service and handles Patreon billing, subscriptions, purchases, renewals, and cancellation under Patreon's terms. Linking or unlinking Patreon inside OTL does not itself create, cancel, or modify the underlying Patreon membership.
Access codes are intended only for the recipient or use authorized by OTL. You may not sell, publicly distribute, brute-force, generate, counterfeit, or circumvent access codes or Premium entitlements.
8. Service changes and browser compatibility
OTL is an evolving service. We may add, remove, modify, limit, or discontinue features, Trainers, Tasks, Premium benefits, progression rules, compatibility, or other parts of the Service, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Browser and device capabilities vary, so some features may not be available everywhere.
9. Prohibited technical conduct
You may not intentionally interfere with OTL, probe or exploit security vulnerabilities without authorization, bypass authentication, entitlement, moderation, or progression-integrity controls, overload the Service, misuse automated requests, access another person's account, distribute malware through the Service, or conduct unlawful surveillance.
10. OTL intellectual property
OTL's software, branding, interface, original graphics, Trainer materials, and other original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of OTL intellectual property to you.
11. Third-party services
OTL may interact with third-party services such as Google, Patreon, Lovense, hosting providers, email providers, Google Fonts, or embedded Library media providers. Those services are controlled by their respective operators, and OTL is not responsible for third-party outages, policies, billing decisions, or account actions.
Optional connected devices
Lovense is an optional Premium integration for compatible vibration devices using Lovense Remote. By connecting a device and using Test or starting a Training with Lovense enabled, you authorize OTL to send commands based on your selected settings. Connect only devices you own or are authorized to control, with the ongoing consent of any person using them. Availability depends on the device, app, browser, network, and Lovense's service; Premium does not guarantee compatibility with every model or device function. Review the connected-device safety information before use and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that any particular activity, prompt, media file, configuration, user content, or third-party service is safe or suitable for you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of OTL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service, loss of local files, user-selected activities, user or Community content, third-party services, or unauthorized account access.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Termination
You may stop using OTL at any time and may delete your OTL account as described in the Privacy Policy. Ending your use of OTL or deleting an OTL account does not itself manage separate accounts, memberships, or subscriptions operated by third parties.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material revisions will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
